On those who live here, on those who run businesses or provide services,
And on those who come here each day.
May this be a place where all can walk without fear, in safety and security.
May this be a place where all are open to the needs of others,
Where the hungry are fed, the lonely find company,
Where enemies are reconciled and strangers become friends.

Prayers
Lord God Our Father, we thank you for thirty years of Churches Together in Eastcote and for being our strength and inspiration. We thank you for everyone who has supported our mission, and has given of their time and skills. We remember all those we have known who have passed on, and we pray for the repose of their souls, remembering especially Laurie. AMEN
Lord, we pray for your churches in Eastcote. We thank you for our ministers and our church leaders and for all who continue your work and ministry in our local communities. Guide and support them, we pray, so that the presence of the living Christ may be seen in Eastcote. We ask that you bless the ongoing work of Churches Together in Eastcote and that we may know your will and walk in your ways. AMEN
Lord, we pray for our world, fragile and suffering in so many ways. We pray for our brothers and sisters who live places of conflict and war. We pray for those who suffer from hunger and deprivation. We pray for those who lack health provision. We pray for all the displaced and homeless. May we be willing to share with those in need, and may all leaders work together to bring peace, justice and stability to all. May we be open to your call to play our part in making your kingdom come. We make these prayers through Christ our Lord. AMEN
Together we are stronger. Together we can support and encourage one another. Whenever we meet, as we are meeting today, we know that Christ is with us. May we always be open to meeting Christ in our friends in Eastcote.
